Stance Terminology
Welcome to the Stances section of our Taekwon-Do syllabus. This page contains all the stance names required for each grade, presented in both English and Korean (Hangul and Romanised). Each entry also includes a phonetic pronunciation guide to help students learn how to say each stance correctly and confidently.
To support your training and ensure accurate pronunciation, we’ve also included audio clips for every stance. Whether you’re a beginner or preparing for your next grading, this page is designed to help you develop strong foundations in stance knowledge and Korean terminology.
